A huge, heartfelt appreciation goes to my incredible best friend, Pidge, the person who sparked my love for The Beatles and opened the door I didn't even realise I needed in my life, I don't know if they fully understand just how much influence they hold over the things I come to adore, but they truly do, shaping so many of my interests, from fleeting hyperfixations to the deeper loves that settle in and stay, and without them, I probably would've continued through my days never discovering the comfort, beauty, and emotional pull this band brings me. An especially massive thank you goes to them for buying tickets for me and another pookie, Rogan, to see the Fab Four tribute, a moment that meant far more than just an event, because it connected me even closer to something I now hold so dearly. Pidge holds this almosy magical ability to get me completely hooked on the things they love, which explains why our connection, especially between us (P & R), feels so strong and natural, built on shared interests and that easy understanding between us, I find myself constantly inspired by them, just as I feel inspired by dookie Rogan, but Pidge remains at the center of so much of what I cherish. So again, thank you, my best friend Pidge, for being the main reason I get to experience and enjoy The Beatles in the way I do now, because their music brings me a kind of comfort and quiet joy I keep returning to, something soothing, something meaningful, something I truly wish I had found much earlier in my life
